For the past few years, we have all been familiar with the Quinn brothers and Jack Hughes. Two incredibly talented players who are pillars of their respective teams.
However, the youngest of the family, Luke Hughes, is on his way to the NHL. The youngest of the family will be drafted by a Bettman team on July 23rd, most likely in the top 10.
If there was a player with whom we could compare Luke Hughes on the ice, it would undoubtedly be his elder Quinn Hughes. They play the same position, defenseman. Moreover, they have the same style of play, both are offensive backs, with a good skating stroke and who love to carry the puck into the opponent's zone.
Like all players who are similar, there are differences between them as well. Luke Hughes was asked what the biggest difference was between him and his brother Quinn. The latter gave a totally humiliating, but hilarious answer.
"The biggest difference between the two of us is that I am 6 feet 2 inches tall.
One can deduce that the young man was trying to tease his big brother, who is 5 feet 10 inches tall.
However, there was probably no malice in this statement, considering that the three Hughes brothers seem to be very close with each other. They have been posted often together on social media. One could even say that they have a very close family circle.
