Many have criticized the selection of Alexis Lafreniere with the first pick in the 2020 NHL draft, but the man who comes in second, Quinton Byfield, is also off to a rocky start.
The Kings announced yesterday that Byfield has been sent back to the AHL with the Ontario Reign.
This season in eight games, the 20-year-old forward has three points. Last season in 40 games, he recorded 10 points.
