Al Sobotka joined the company at the age of 17 and worked his way up to become the ice arena's day-to-day operations manager.
Sobotka, who had been with the Red Wings since 1971, was fired in February due to an HR issue.
Sobotka allegedly couldn't wait to go to the bathroom and instead urinated into a drain. After this, Sobotka met with his supervisor and HR. Sobotka got a week. After 51 years with the company, the Zamboni driver was fired.
