According to Hamilton, one of Trotz's top priorities is to land a job that will allow him to transition into the front office of an NHL team once his coaching days are over.
He's also concerned about finding a suitable home for his family and ensuring that his son, Nolan Trotz, is raised in a healthy environment. According to all reports, the Jets are willing to work with Trotz to make this happen.
