According to what IB THE GAMBLER reports, Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes is receiving calls from his counterpart in Los Angeles regarding a possible deal surrounding forward Jonathan Drouin.
As for the source in question, it is very reliable. As my colleague William Nadeau of HabsAndNHL reports, the site has broken several big NFL and NBA stories. When they release news about the NHL, they are not wrong.
Do you think Drouin could join Danault in the hot California sun?
Drouin, 27, is in the final year of his $5.5 million-a-year contract.
Last season, he collected 20 points in 34 games with the CH. In total, he has 252 points in 427 games.
