McPhee says the Golden Knights purposely stopped communicating with Marc-Andre Fleury and allowed him to learn about the trade on Twitter after Allan Walsh started trying to "sabotage the trade" by telling teams he might retire.
Basically it was all Allan Walsh's fault!
«The offseason trade of Marc-Andre Fleury was the cruelest reminder yet to a young Golden Knights fan base that professional sports is a business.»
«Our job is to win. And the team comes first, and the players are a close second,» owner Bill Foley said.
