In the 2022 NHL Draft, young centre Kirby Dach was sent to the Montreal Canadiens.
Regarding the Chicago Blackhawks rebuild and Kyle Davidson's numerous trades this week, veteran Patrick Kane has responded, through the company of Pat Brisson, his agent.
He mentioned that he was not happy and that he was not making a decision about his future in Chicago at this time.
I asked agent Pat Brisson about his client Patrick Kane and his future in the NHL following today's trade by the rebuilding Blackhawks. Brisson said they "weren't going to make any decisions or comments at this point."
At the end of the 2022-2023 season, Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews will become UFAs.
Clearly, both will be traded by the 2023 trade deadline.
