To rebuild the franchise, Jeff Gorton and his future general manager may choose one of three teams identified by the Journal de Montréal.
On one hand, returning to his native British Columbia might be intriguing. It's a perfect fit, especially if Marc Bergevin becomes Vancouver's GM. Could Thatcher Demko ($5M/season) be included? Yes, and so does Brock Boeser, whose $5,875M deal expires at the end of the season.
Oilers have been rumoured to be in on Carey Price, especially considering Mike Smith that is on the bench. Half of Carey's pay versus Koskinen and options? To follow?
And with Darcy Kuemper having a bad season, Price could be a good option in Colorado. Pavel Francouz hasn't played since the start of the season, Jonas Johansson isn't a quality goalie, and Justus Annunen, at 21, is still too young to be an Avalanche goalie.
Do you believe Price will leave Montreal?
