According to Jimmy Murphy of Boston Hockey Now, the Boston Bruins and Arizona Coyotes have been in contact regarding a trade that would see Christian Dvorak end up in Bean Town.
Rumor has the Bruins were offering forward Jake DeBrusk and defenseman Jakub Zboril, however the Coyotes prefer to only take back one NHL contract and are looking for multiple draft picks in any Dvorak deal.
The Bruins have competition when it comes to acquiring the young center out of the desert as Dvorak's name has been linked to a number of teams. He's become one of the hottest names on the trade market and for good reason. Dvorak has four seasons left at $4.45 million on the cap and is blossoming into one of the best two way centers in the game.
Look for the Bruins to circle back on Dvorak should Charlie Coyle not work out as the team's second line center. As David Krejci has left to return home in Europe the Bruins are going with Coyle down the middle. Look for these trade talks to pick up once training camp begins and teams get a closer look at just what they really have on their roster.
