It looks like the Montreal Canadiens and Calgary Flames could do business to complete a monster trade between the Canadian teams.
Matthew Ross and Marco D'Amico talked of a potential trade on Habs Breakfast TV that would send Artturi Lehkonen and Tyler Toffoli or Josh Anderson to the Calgary Flames for Dillon Dube and highly touted prospect Jakob Pelletier.
The Canadiens are believed to be very interested in the 20-year-old Jakob Pelletier who the Calgary Flames drafted 26th overall in the 2019 NHL draft.
This move would benefit both teams, the Calgary Flames are looking to go for a playoff push and adding Lehkonen with Toffoli or Anderson would make them them a serious threat.
As for the Canadiens with their rebuild they would get two players back in Dube and Pelletier who seems to fit Kent Hughes' vision of a fast skilled offensive minded club.
