The Carolina Hurricanes are off to an incredible start this season, sitting second overall in the NHL standings with a 22-6-6 record.
Clearly, Don Waddell, the team's GM, will want to improve his team for the playoffs.
Could trading young forward Ryan Suzuki be a solution for the Canes? Considering that the Habs certainly have elements that could interest Waddell, a reunion between the two Suzuki brothers could be a possibility.
Ryan Suzuki has had a rough start to his professional career. The 28th overall pick out of Carolina in 2019 has only played 64 games in the AHL, dating back to the 2020-2021 season. He has collected a total of 27 points.
Bothered by injuries more often than not, Suzuki has three points in four games this season with the Chicago Wolves.
Could Kent Hughes be tempted to reunite Ryan and Nick?
To be continued...
