Former NHL pest Sean Avery is charged with criminal mischief and appeared in court in New York today.
In February 2019, Avery allegedly deliberately orchestrated a collision, having hit a car blocking the bike lane with his scooter.
The vehicle belonged to Jonathan Shulhof, who is the co-founder of the Ventures company. He was accompanied by the daughter of billionaire Henry Kravis.
The TVA Sports website reports that the former NHL player wanted to represent himself, but a judge made him change his mind.
