Tampa Bay Lightning Players Clear The Bench To Mob Steven Stamkos Following His 1000th NHL Point
Steven Stamkos became the 95th player in NHL history to score 1000 points in the league.
He has spent his entire career with the Tampa Bay Lightning, and holds a tremendous amount of franchise records.
Yesterday, in a game against the Philadelphia Flyers, Stamkos earned an assist, and his teams' reaction was priceless.
They cleared the bench, and went to go mob him on the ice:
He's been with some of this core, including Nikita Kucherov, Victor Hedman, and Andrei Vasilevskiy for nearly a decade, and we are sure that this moment means a ton for the Bolts' captain.
Still only 32 years old, we will see how much more the captain can do with the Lightning!
