Tampa Bay Lightning Veteran's Career Appears to Be Over
937-Game NHL Veteran Anton Stralman's career appears to be over.
He cleared waivers today, and was assigned for the Bruins' AHL affiliate in Providence.
Stralman hasn't played in the AHL in almost 15 years, and it's unlikely he'll want to suit up in that league. It's entirely possible he heads home to Sweden to finish his career, or just retires.
No matter what he decides, he'll be remembered as a man of high character, and as a well-respected defensive blueliner.
We wish him the best as he begins this next chapter of his career.
