The Canadiens are Now One Step Closer to a Franchise Altering Possibility
The Montreal Canadiens are falling in the standings. This was an inevitable, as injuries have decimated our blue-line, and as our schedule has become more difficult, but it is not a bad thing.
The Canadiens are now only four points over the Arizona Coyotes in the standings. This brings them much closer to a franchise altering player in Connor Bedard.
The closer the team gets to the bottom of the standings, the more our odds of picking first overall improve.
While it would be fun to be in the playoff hunt, adding a name like Bedard would change the direction of this team forever.
