At the trade deadline, the Montreal Canadiens traded defenseman Brett Kulak to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for defenseman William Lagesson, a conditional second round pick and a seventh round pick in 2024.
It's now official! With the Edmonton Oilers losing the conference final, the second round pick will be the 64th overall in 2022. If the Oilers had made it to the NHL Finals, the pick would have been moved to 2023.
The Habs will have four picks in the first and second round.
