The Dallas Stars have a solid bank of prospects. In the last two drafts, they have drafted three players that stand out.
For one, they selected the OHL's highest scoring forward in the first round, 23rd overall in 2021, at 1.86 points per game. Wyatt Johnston has 123 points in 66 games this season with the Windsor Spitfires.
They also drafted the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's highest scoring player at 2.09 points per game (48 points in 23 games). This is Mavrik Bourque, drafted 30th overall in 2020.
Finally, the forward with the best points per game average in the WHL is Logan Stankoven, pick #47 in 2021. He has 102 points in 57 games, averaging 1.79 points per game.
That's pretty impressive...
