The Florida Panthers have put forward forward Rudolfs Balcers on waivers in an effort to reactivate defenceman Aaron Ekblad.
In 14 games this season, Balcers has four points.
A fifth-round pick of the San Jose Sharks in 2015, he had 23 points in 61 games last season.
