The Vancouver Canucks are making moves

The Vancouver Canucks have agreed to terms on a professional tryout contract with defenceman Danny DeKeyser.
DeKeyser, 32, has spent his entire career of nearly 10 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings.
At 6-foot-3 and 183 pounds, DeKeyser has 146 points in 547 career NHL games, including 11 points in 59 games last season.
His contract, worth $5 million on the Red Wings' payroll, expired on July 13.
