The Worst is Confirmed in Edmonton
The worst has been confirmed in Edmonton. For the last few games, Leon Draisaitl has looked a little off. Whether it was some hesitance in his stride, or just difficulty moving around, he hasn't been in his peak form.
Now, we know that Draisaitl will be missing time.
Update: a little birdy told me Draisaitl is out tonight, and possibly tomorrow versus Winnipeg. Unverified and hasn't been reported but it's enough to incentivize me to bet on Seattle because I trust the source.
This comes after reports concerning Draisaitl's long-term health:
My sense is the Draisaitl hasn't been completely healthy all season long...
We don't know exactly how much time Draisaitl will miss, but this information indicates we could be looking at a long-term injury.
This will be an interesting story to follow.
