Carey Price talked to reporters for the first time in months four days ago. If Habs fans hoped for some good news concerning Price's return, they were left with a lot of questions. A knee ailment has made things difficult for the Canadiens goalie.

While he hopes to return to action this week, he stated he is still awaiting results that will inform him what to do next. It's unknown what's going on and this is a career-ending injury, but be hopeful. For now, Price is optimistic and doing everything he can to improve his situation.

Stephane Waite told 98.5 Sports that Carey Price deserved to retire with his number in the Bell Centre.

"I can't believe he won't have his number retired. First of all, he's definitely going to be in the Hall of Fame. With the numbers that he has, and there are a lot of goalies that don't have the stats that he has that are in there. That won't be a problem. With the Habs, we may have to revise the criteria for that, because if we don't, there may never be another one in the next few years. It's not easy to win the Stanley Cup. He has Hall of Fame numbers and he's the winningest goalie in Canadiens history. That's no small feat. Tony Esposito never won the cup with the Chicago Blackhawks and he has his number retired, same thing for Henrik Lundqvist with the New York Rangers."
