Things are getting tougher for Filip Mesar

Filip Mesar clearly mentioned that he wanted to play in Laval and that he felt he was good enough more than once. The Canadiens first round pick in 2022 gave himself every chance with a very good training camp.
Mesar's happiness will be short-lived though, as he has been moved to the Rocket's fifth line.
Filip Mesar pivots to a line completed by Joel Teasdale and Pierrick Dubé at practice this morning. Potentially the 5th trio of the team for now. There are still some cuts to make before the opening game.
Unless there is a surprise, Mesar should be cut from the team and will have to report to the Kitchener Rangers in the OHL.
