The excellent journalist for The Athletic, Marc-Antoine Godin, has given us some news about Shea Weber.
According to what he reports, Weber is having a very difficult time accepting his new life as a "retired" player, as let's remember that he remains on the Vegas Golden Knights' long-term injured list.
Acceptance is a long process for an athlete. I've heard that Shea Weber, for his part, doesn't want to come out yet and say, "I'm retired, my career is over."
Those are words that are hard to say and an idea that is hard for some athletes to wrap their heads around." - Marc-Antoine Godin
When you practice a sport all your life and you unfortunately have to give it up because of injuries, it's understandable that it must be difficult to live.
I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do that, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do that. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do that, but I'm not going to be able to do that.
