Christian Dvorak has found himself a nice role as a Montreal Canadiens middle-six centre.

This is underwhelming, as the cost to get him was steep. Playing a 1st and a 2nd round pick to the Arizona Coyotes in an act of desperation, Marc Bergevin made sure the team wouldn't lack at centre. Only one full season later, however, it appears that the Canadiens new regime is ready to move on from #28.

In come the Philadelphia Flyers, who's star Sean Couturier will be injured long-term. They could use Dvorak as a transitional piece for as long as Couturier is out.

Here is what a Habs reporter proposed:

If the Flyers offer a conditional 2023 second-round pick, which becomes a 2023 first-round pick (if they make the playoffs), that would make a tremendous amount of sense for both sides. If the Flyers miss the playoffs, it will be a high second round pick, if they make the playoffs, it will be a later first round pick. There could be a difference of about 15-20 picks.

Do you think this trade would make sense for either side?
