Trade between the Rangers and the Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes have traded forward Maxim Letunov to the New York Rangers.
In return, the Canes received the services of Tarmo Reunanen.
In 60 games with the Chicago Wolves in the AHL, Letunov had 23 points, including 13 goals.
A native of Moscow, Letunov played three games in the NHL, all with the San Jose Sharks.
