Trading Shea Weber? Chantal Machabée sets the record straight
On 91.9 Sports this morning, Montreal Canadiens VP Communications Chantal Machabée commented on her first experience at the trade deadline.
During the interview, Machabée revisited the Steve Dangle story that the NHL would have rejected the trade sending Shea Weber's contract to Arizona.
"The league never intervened, that's not true. That's not true because, well, I was there, I was aware of the development of that and never did the league intervene and I checked again when I had dinner with Kent on Sunday night." - Chantal Machabée
But, have there been any discussions between the CH and the Coyotes for Weber?
