The Arizona Coyotes are starting to have a solid bank of prospects, with Dylan Guenther, Logan Cooley, Connor Geekie, Maveric Lamoureux and more.
Now, a prospect who literally came out of nowhere is having a lot of success so far this season and is tied for the top scoring prospect in the NHL.
With nine points in 12 games, Matias Maccelli is the third leading scorer on his team.
Having played 23 games last season, Maccelli is still considered a rookie.
Drafted in the fourth round, 98th overall in 2019, he is poised to be a steal and a home run in this draft.
