Unusual On-Ice Incident: Player Collapses on Ice and Struggles to Recover
Sometimes hockey is very unusual. It's an inherently odd sport, and injuries occur often.
This, however, is a true mystery.
Player Mysteriously Collapses on Ice
Finnish Elite League player Miro Nalli fell to the ice suddenly while slowly skating during the 2nd period.
His coach was left speechless after the game:
"I don't know what I can tell the outside world about it,"
"We are extremely careful. We prefer to over-react than under-react,"
-Risto Dufva
Clearly it was cautious take Nalli to hospital, as he was taken off the ice and brought in by ambulance for immediate care.
Hopefully he will make a full recovery, and there won't be any lasting issues from this mysterious event.
