To get Jack Eichel, the Golden Knights gave up Peyton Krebs, Alex Tuch, a first-round pick in 2022, and a second-round pick in 2023.
The transaction was made just eight days after Eichel had surgery to replace a vertebra in his neck. In three months he should be recovered! Jack Eichel is anticipated to return before the All-Star break in early February, according NHL.com. The American centre has begun skating again, but he may soon join his new colleagues.
They lead the Pacific Division with 20 wins in 32 games. They'll be even more formidable with the inclusion of the 2015 second overall draught pick.
They'll be a postseason favourite.
