Russian forward Vitali Kravtsov, who most recently signed a one-season deal with the New York Rangers, will remain with the team that drafted him and will not be traded, according to the NHL Collection.
Kravtsov and Chris Drury had a good discussion and the young athlete will play for the big club.
The rumors sending Kravtsov to Montreal to join his GM at the time Jeff Gorton were intense in the last few months, but finally he will get his chance with the Rangers.
In 19 games last season in the KHL, the 9th overall pick in 2018 collected 13 points, while adding 10 points in 15 playoff games.
