Winnipeg Jets forward Pierre-Luc Dubois accepted a qualifying offer from his team today.
The deal will pay him $6 million for the next year.
Will this contract prevent him from being traded elsewhere? On the contrary, it will be much easier for Kent Hughes to find a better deal to acquire the Quebec centre, knowing his salary for at least one year.
