Trade proposal for Nikita Zadorov emerges in Toronto
Zadorov's Request: Trade Incoming Soon?
Nikita Zadorov officially asked a trade out of Calgary and according to many reports, the Maple Leafs are among the top contenders to get him.
But what will the Leafs need to pay to get him?
With almost no money available, the Leafs will need to send a few contracts to land Zadorov's $3.75M.
Yesterday, on X, a trade scenario was released.
Major Trade Proposal to Send Zadorov in Toronto
Check it out:
"Mock Trade for Zadorov
TOR gets:
D Nikita Zadorov (full $3.75M)
D Brady Lyle (AHL D)
CGY gets:
D John Klingberg
F Bobby McMann
F Roni Hirvonen
2024 3rd round pick (NYI)
2026 4th round pick (TOR)" As you can see, in this proposal, the Flames send Zadorov with his full salary, alongside Lyle, an AHLer.
On the other hand, the Leafs would send the struggling John Klingberg, with prospects McMann and Hirvonen, as well as two draft picks.
Would you make that trade?
