Trade Rumor Gives Campbell NHL Hope
Today a new report from David Pagnotta has linked the Edmonton Oilers with a high profile defenseman.
Sean Walker from the Philadelphia Flyers has been made available. According to Pagnotta's reports a player the Flyers could want in return is Jack Campbell.
This trade has the potential to be a win win scenario for both sides. Each team desperately needs help keeping picks out of their net in different ways.
Can Campbell Save The Flyers Goaltending Problems?
The addition of Jack Campbell would be massive for the Flyers if they can pull it off.
With their former starter Carter Hart suspended due to the 2018 World Junior scandal the Flyers are scrambling for good goaltending.
Backup Samuel Ersson has filled in well but is not a bonafide starter. If the Flyers truly want to contend a goaltender is needed.
On the opposite end of the spectrum. The Oilers have found solid enough goaltending in Stuart Skinner. If their defense can improve in front of him they would be a in good shape.
