TRADE ALERT: Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild make a trade
What seemed like a quiet day in the NHL world, things have finally started to move on the trade front. We saw a trade this afternoon involving the Minnesota Wild and Pittsburgh Penguins involving defenseman Will Butcher.
Pittsburgh Penguins Will Butcher new chance with the Minnesota Wild
Defenseman Will Butcher has yet to suit up with the Penguins and only played 14 games with WBS, their minor team due to injury. Huge opportunity for him in Minnesota.
Maxim Cajkovic traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins acquired a minor league player Maxim Cajkovic. Maxim has spent most of his season in the ECHL, playing 20 games and getting 17 points. He recently got called up to Iowa and has 3 points in 5 games. Likely a depth piece for the Penguins farm team WBS.
Surely there will be more trades in the next month before the deadline, so don't sit down just yet!
