Gary Bettman Begs Hockey Fans For Support of the Arizona Coyotes

Gary Bettman needs your help... that is, if you still want to see the Coyotes in Arizona.

After a desperate meeting with the Tempe city council this morning, Bettman pleaded his case.

Bettman Fights for the Coyotes

I have a little bit of experience with the Coyotes it's been an interesting ride I don't think anybody can doubt our support.

It will shine a light on Tempe. We will bring league events here, whether it's an All-Star Game or a Draft. That's our commitment to you if this project goes forward.

Then Bettman confirmed the rumour that any new arena would come with a 30-second no-relocation clause. This means the Coyotes will be in Arizona for a long time.

The Tempe city council opted to put the $1.7-billion complex up to the vote of Tempe residents.

Thus, Bettman released this video, quite literally begging fans for support:

We will see if the people of Tempe make the decision to let the Coyotes move, or if they will keep the team to flounder for another 30 years.

Either way, something big is coming for the Coyotes organization.
