Coyotes players react to relocation to Salt Lake City
The day has arrived amongst us, the Arizona Coyotes are expected to relocate to Salt Lake City for the upcoming 2024-25 season. A lot of framework to do and not officially official, but all signs point to the Arizona era coming to a close. It was reported by a reliable Yotes reporter that many players are not looking forward to this new journey.
It was Monday afternoon when NHL insider Frank Seravalli dropped the bombshell of news that the Arizona Coyotes have found a new home in Utah.

- NHL, Arizona Coyotes & Smith Entertain. Grp have made significant progress on the framework of an agreement to relocate #Yotes to Salt Lake City, Utah.

NOT done. Many layers and lawyers. Much work to do.
Sources say #Yotes players have been informed that something of a "verbal" agreement is in place to relocate to Salt Lake City, but we've received pushback on that characterization of talks.
Nonetheless, this is well down the track. Let's see what happens next.
According to Craig Morgan, this news has not sat well for the Coyotes players.
Craig Morgan on PHNX says players aren't excited about moving to Salt Lake City. «I know that. They're not excited about it.» #Yotes
We wouldn't be surprised if a flurry of trade requests spring upon the desk of GM Bill Armstrong. Hopefully it has nothing to do with star players like Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz or Logan Cooley, the key pieces of this young Yotes team.
