BREAKING: Marchand May Face Suspension after Brutal Hit
The Boston Bruins and the LA Kings faced off for an early matinee game at TD Garden. The game ended 5-4 in overtime thanks to Brandt Clarke's game winning goal and his first NHL goal. Brad Marchand, Boston Bruins captain found himself in the dirty areas of the game once again and may face disciplinary actions because of it.
Bruins captain may face suspension after dirty hit
In the third period at the halfway mark, Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand landed a dangerous elbow hit on Viktor Arvidsson's head. A play that has been happening far to often in the NHL.
In the neutral zone, Arvidsson found himself getting absolutely rocked by the "rat" Brad Marchand. Check it out.
Marchan did not receive a penalty for the hit, but it does not mean the NHL Player Safety Association won't look into it, especially with all the attention that was gained.
"Marchand's elbow up and hits Arvidsson in the face as they collide. Play continues. Arvi being tended to on the bench. No penalty."
