Hockey fans outraged by cowardly cover-up from the Calgary Flames
TSN officially revealed the names of all five players linked to the London, Ontario Police Department investigation. These five players were all on team Canada's golden victory at the 2018 World Juniors.
Now, while no one's happy about the situation, Flames fans are fired up about how the organization handled the recent announcement.
Calgary Flames fans react to Dube's leave reason:
The other four players kept their leave reasons vague, but not the Flames. They said Dube was taking time off for his mental health. The recent events had fans raising their eyebrows and wondering if the Flames were trying to douse water on this investigation.
Joining Dube at the London Police Station are his fellow 25 year-old friends Alex Formenton, Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, and Cal Foote.
Formenton, formerly with the Ottawa Senators is with Ambri-Piotta in Switzerland, Hart is the starting goaltender for the the Philadelphia Flyers, McLeod and Foote are with the New Jersey Devils.
