New report suggests Canucks place Nikita Zadorov on the trade market
A new report with a pulse on the Vancouver Canucks locker room heading into the NHL trade deadline has suggested that defenseman Nikita Zadorov could be on the move for a surprising reason.
Nikita Zadorov On The Trade Market Already?
For those unfamiliar with the Nikita Zadorov situation in Vancouver he was recently acquired by the team. Traded from the Calgary Flames to Vancouver for a third and fifth-round pick.
This acquisition was looked at as a huge upgrade for the Canucks by many around the league. Now just over two months later Zadorov is being linked to a move out of Vancouver. According to sources, Zadorov has not meshed well with his new team since being traded.
Zadorov On The Trade Market For A Surprising Reason
A report from NHL sports radio personality Don Taylor indicates that Zadorov is being shopped around by Vancouver. Taylor believes that Zadorov has not fit in with Vancouver and both sides could prefer to go their own separate ways.
"You're starting to hear the odd thing, I'm wonder how happy they are with him and I don't mean just on the ice. I'm wondering how he's meshing in that room...I'm not so sure there's a mesh there right now..."

This is the first time that a rift in the locker room involving Zadorov has been mentioned. If Zadorov is indeed struggling to fit in capitalizing on his value could be the best move. Teams like the Toronto Maple Leafs had rumored interest before he landed in Vancouver so there would still likely be a solid market for him
