When Patrick Kane left the Blackhawks this winter, it was an emotional time for many fans. Kane had been the face of the franchise for many years, and fans didn't want to say goodbye to their longtime hero. We now know the status of Kane and the Blackhawks, and the possibility of a potential reunion.
Kane Returning to the Blackhawks Not on the Table
Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson went on the radio recently to discuss his team's future, and was asked about the possibility of Patrick Kane to returning this summer in free agency.
His answer made it very clear to Hawks fans.
"We did make our decision that we're going to move on from Jonathan (Toews) and Patrick."
This is not a surprise to many fans, but still likely hurts. We can't say we're all that surprised, as it's clear the Hawks are moving in a different direction. Still, it would be cool to see Bedard with Kane and Toews.
