Connor Bedard's True Colours are Revealed in Recent Interview
Connor Bedard has been in Chicago for the past few days to attend the Blackhawks' development camp.
During the camp, he has worked hard, but he has also played hard. They have participated in a lot of team-building activities, such as going to a baseball game and a comedy show.
While these events sound fun, especially for an 18-year-old, Bedard enjoyed something else at the camp, as he revealed in a surprising statement during an interview.
Bedard's True Colors
His declaration shows what a good guy he is.
Connor Bedard was asked about his favorite activity at the camp. He could have mentioned the Cubs game or the comedy show, among others.
His answer: "I liked the clinic we did with the kids. We played floor hockey, got to talk to them, and see their excitement when we arrived. It was pretty cool."
It's refreshing to see a young player who attracts a lot of media attention say words like these. At only 18 years old, he is already a role model for younger kids, and his attitude shows that he wants to have a positive impact on the hockey community.
The Blackhawks didn't just acquire a generational talent; they also got a genuinely good and generous guy who cares about his environment.
We can't wait to follow Bedard's career.
