With each passing day, the uncertainty surrounding William Nylander's future in Toronto seems to get bigger.
Now, with neither the player nor the Toronto Maple Leafs close to agreeing an extension, trade talk surrounding the Swedish forward keeps growing.
Unfortunately for Leafs fans reading this, a certain former radio host is suggesting a one-for-one trade sending Nylander to the Anaheim Ducks for John Gibson.
Howard Berger, formerly of THE FAN-590 (he was fired from the channel in 2011), thinks Gibson and his hefty $6.4 million contract would be a fair replacement for Nylander, and could be the Leafs' «best goalie since Cujo [Curtis Joseph].»
