Steven Yzerman and the Detroit Red Wings give up on Jussi Olkinuora

The Detroit Red Wings have placed 32-year-old veteran goaltender Jussi Olkinuora on waivers in an effort to end his contract.
In 15 games this season in the AHL, Olkinuora has maintained a 6-8 record, a 3.75 goals-against average and a .868 save percentage.
He has not played a single game in the NHL. Jussi Oklinuora reportedly holds no regrets in his decision to leave the Detroit Red Wings.
