The Edmonton police arrested fans who took part in a brawl following the tough game two loss against the Dallas Stars on Saturday night.

Last night, the Edmonton Oilers fell 3-1 against the Dallas Stars in game two of the Western Conference Finals. The loss didn't sit well with many Oilers fans, leading to a brawl outside the arena and multiple arrests by the police.

Many officers had to intervene and used force to detain four men who were fighting in the street.

Since the playoffs started, it seems that whenever the Oilers are playing, tension rise at the arena or at the team's watchparty. It's unfortunate to see as such violence is completely unnecessary. Even if spirits run high during games, it's no reason to lash out on fellow fans who just want to have a good time watching the game.

With the series tied 1-1, the round is up for grabs as the Oilers and the Stars travel to Edmonton for games 3 and 4.

At least three other games will be needed to determine a winner. Let's just hope we won't have three other fights in Edmonton to report.
