Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov was injured and left tonight's game against the Winnipeg Jets.
See the footage here:
This is the worst possible news for the Wild, as Hart Trophy candidate Kaprizov was essentially the only thing keeping them in a playoff spot.
With Logan Stanley being a very big player at 6'7» this injury could be serious.
With the Wild having not been aggressive sellers at the deadline due to remaining playoff hopes, this could be a serious issue.
Bill Guerin will have to hope that Kaprizov makes a swift recovery, or the Wild will be having a difficult conversation about their future in the off-season.
Let's hope there's some good news coming soon.
