BREAKING: Barry Trotz to Return to NHL as a GM
Per Elliotte Friedman, Barry Trotz will be making his return to the NHL. Not as a coach however, but as GM.
Trotz to Become GM of the Nashville Predators
With David Poile either retiring or stepping down, Friedman has reported that Barry Trotz will be his successor.
The legendary coach has expressed interest in becoming a front office exec for a while, and it appears finally to be happening.
Friedman specifies July 30th as the date Trotz will take over, which is the day after the NHL Draft in Nashville.
Hopefully Trotz can turn this team into a contender. We're rooting for him!
Congratulations, Barry!
