Major details of Sheldon Keefe's new contract with the Devils revealed
It was announced that Sheldon Keefe would be coaching the New Jersey Devils and we now know for how many years he will be behind the Devils' bench.
The NHL was just shaken by the news that Sheldon Keefe would be coaching the New Jersey Devils.
Here's a little nugget for you: Sheldon Keefe will be the next head coach of the New Jersey Devils.
Insider Darren Dreger shared news about how long Keefe's contract with the Devils is.
Sounds like 4 years total including the two years owed by the Leafs.
Insider Pierre LeBrun provided insight into what this means for Keefe.
Devils expected to make the Sheldon Keefe hire official tomorrow.
Keefe had a two-year extension kicking in with the Leafs next season but the Devils ripped that up and signed him to a fresh four-year deal (hint, got a raise over what the 2-year extension would have paid).
Keefe will now be getting paid more and will coach a team that has less of a media presence than Toronto. We still await a full announcement from the Devils but Keefe will look to lead the Devils on a deep playoff run with their young core.
