Philadelphia Flyers Carter Hart steps away from hockey
This afternoon the Philadelphia Flyers made a major announcement regarding the future of star goaltender Carter Hart.
A shocking update was shared by the Philadelphia Flyers this afternoon confirming that goaltender Carter Hart is taking an indefinite break from hockey. He will step away from personal reasons that were not shared by the organization or Hart to this point.
Per Philadelphia Flyers General Manager, Daniel Briere:
"Carter Hart has requested and been granted an indefinite leave of absence citing personal reasons. The club will have no further comment at this time."
As of now, there are no confirmed reasons as to why Hart is stepping away. This is likely to create a lot of speculation in the coming days. Hart has had a turbulent career in Philadelphia after being a highly touted prospect. Hopefully, this time away will allow him to get his health and career back on track.
