BREAKING: Penguins Lose Big Deadline Acquisition to Injury Long-Term
The Pittsburgh Penguins got some terrible news today as deadline acquisition Nick Bonino has been announced to be week-to-week with a crazy injury.
Bonino Week-to-Week
After an underwhelming trade deadline, the Penguins had Nick Bonino and Mikael Granlund added to the roster.
Only 8 days after the deadline, they have already lost one of them for what could be deep into the playoffs.
Bonino is suffering from a lacerated kidney, which is definitely not very common.
Hopefully he'll be in good shape by the playoffs, but nothing is certain.
The Penguins definitely have some bad luck.
