Kraken Shane Wright sent back to the AHL
This afternoon Shane Wright was given some frustrating news by the Seattle Kraken. Multiple reports have confirmed he is being sent back to Coachella Valley of the AHL despite his recent success.
As the Seattle Kraken wrap up their NHL season they have made a set of roster moves. This set of moves involves sending former top 5 pick Shane Wright back to the AHL with a couple of other players.
The move comes as a bit of a surprise as Shane Wright had played well in his most recent stint with the Seattle Kraken.
In 5 games since being recalled from AHL's Coachella Valley Firebirds Shane Wright amassed 5 points including 3 goals. With Coachella Valley gearing up for an AHL playoff run his talents might be better used there in a high-stakes environment.
